What is ceramic coating?
It is a liquid polymer based on silicon dioxide (SiO2) that, once applied, forms a hard, transparent protective layer on your paint. Unlike wax, which washes away after a few car washes, ceramic coating chemically bonds to the paint and lasts anywhere from 1 to 5 years depending on product quality.
What ceramic coating actually delivers
Hydrophobic effect: water beads and rolls off the surface, taking dirt and dust with it, which makes washing easier.
Chemical resistance: better protection against bird droppings, tree sap, and other substances that can permanently damage paint.
Deeper gloss: the coating enhances the paint's optical depth, especially noticeable on dark colors.

What ceramic coating does NOT do
