The controller determines the purposes and means of processing personal data and is responsible for its security in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and, where applicable, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA).

3. Scope of data processing

We process personal data that you provide voluntarily when registering an account, using the Platform, making a booking, or contacting us. Depending on how you use the Platform, this may include:

• identification data: first name, last name, email address, phone number,
• workshop business data: company name, tax ID, address, billing details,
• vehicle data: make, model, year, VIN, license plate, mileage,
• booking data: selected services, appointment dates, service history,
• technical data: IP address, device and browser type, activity on the Platform.

4. Purposes of processing

We process your data for the following purposes:

• providing services available on the Platform, including appointment bookings,
• creating and managing user or workshop accounts,
• billing, payments, and subscription management,
• handling requests and communicating with you,
• building vehicle service history (Motoro Log) based on mileage readings from workshop visits,
• improving and developing our services, including analytics,
• marketing purposes, only with your consent.

5. Legal basis for processing

We process data based on the following legal grounds:

• Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR: processing necessary for the performance of a contract (providing Platform services),
• Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR: compliance with legal obligations (e.g. accounting and tax),
• Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: legitimate interest of the controller (security, claims, analytics),
• Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR: your consent (e.g. marketing communication).

You can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.

6. Data recipients

Only entities that support us in providing services may access your data, based on data processing agreements:

• workshops where you make a booking (to the extent necessary to complete your visit),
• technical infrastructure and hosting providers,
• payment operators (subscriptions and billing),
• communication service providers (email and SMS notifications),
• analytics tool providers.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

7. Data retention

We store data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected: for as long as you hold an account on the Platform, and after its deletion for the period required by law (e.g. accounting regulations) or until the expiry of potential claims.

Public mileage reports (Motoro Log) contain only vehicle data and readings from visits, without personal data of the vehicle owner.

In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:

• the right to access your data and receive a copy of it,
• the right to rectify (correct) your data,
• the right to erasure ("right to be forgotten"),
• the right to restrict processing,
• the right to data portability,
• the right to object to processing,
• the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

9. Cookies

The Platform uses cookies to ensure proper operation of the service, maintain your session after logging in, remember preferences, and for analytics purposes.

You can manage cookies in your browser settings, including blocking or deleting them. Restricting cookies may affect some functionalities of the Platform.

We reserve the right to make changes to this Privacy Policy, in particular in the event of changes in the law or development of Platform functionalities. We will inform users of significant changes in advance via the Platform or email.
