What this code means

The MAF sensor signal disagrees with what the ECU expects based on throttle position and RPM.

Common symptoms

Hesitation and stumbling
Rough idle, hard starts
Black smoke or poor economy

Dirty MAF sensor element
Air leaks between MAF and throttle
Clogged air filter
Failing MAF sensor
