Hazard Light Indicator

Informational - status, not a fault

hazard light button · emergency flashers indicator

What it means

Shows that the hazard warning flashers (all four turn signals blinking together) are switched on.

Common causes

  • Hazard button pressed manually
  • Some cars trigger hazards automatically during hard braking or after a collision

What to do

Use hazards to warn other drivers when stopped in an unusual spot, moving very slowly, or after a breakdown. Turn them off once the situation is resolved and you resume normal driving.

Can you keep driving?

Yes, this is a driver-controlled safety feature, not a fault.
